When pressures inside fixed cavity of the body increases, ischemia, muscle injury, and organ failure can result. Aim To assess benefits outcomes laparostomy for abdominal syndrome. Methods This retrospective study included patients who underwent procedure as treatment measure syndrome, secondary to different etiologies such sepsis major visceral trauma. Results Although there are few complications incisional hernia in future following laparostomy, mortality rate less than < 10%, thus ensuring good prognosis present with acute surgical emergencies. It could also be further noted an early closure by 7 14 days had definite beneficial compared delayed more days. prevented most long-term entero-atmospheric fistula formation or granuloma formation, which were aided use transparent custom-made polypropylene mesh. Conclusion Laparostomy gold standard The mesh has proven have least follow-up period. Incisional hernias common documented, followed fistula.
